Good day to you all at ePz

Thank you all so very much for taking the time out to view, comment and vote on my last image 'Light, Shadow and a splash of Red' which I uploaded yesterday. A further thank you goes to; Sawsengee, Nishant101 (Nishant), Nonur (Nezih), CarolAnnLauderdale (Carol), Canonshots (Tony), Jocas (Jo) and cbrundage (Christina) for their User Awards.

Today's image was captured on New Years day shortly after capturing my first upload. It bears an uncanny resemblance to a Stick Insect and frightened the life out of me when it appeared poking it wooden head through the undergrowth...

I hope that you all have a great day whatever you may be doing. We are forecasted more rain today so a quiet day in front of the telly might be in order as well as catching up on the site.

Regards as always NathanGrinGrinGrin

These critters turn up in Pennsylvania as well--- Yours look like he might be related to the Pennsylvania Barkback--- An epz member GlenD has found them in Florida as well!

I did indeed think that this was one of CarolG's insects, Nathan, so realistic it seemed when viewed as a thumbnail.
Well spotted and captured.
