Woodland Walk

Taken on a woodland walk in the Cairngorms. I am at loss what the writing on the post is supposed to mean? Anybody any thoughts?

It's one of those arty farty installations that national park authorities like to waste our money on.

Nice mono image though.

All seem to be relating to trees and what happens to and in them...... carving initials, birds singing, casting shadows, heart wood, rings of growth and so on, but why is anyone's guess.
Makes a good picture though Ian and the lead image in mono is a cracker
