Woodlouse - Oniscus asellus

By Mendipman
One from an earlier trip last January to Rodney Stoke woods with my daughter Jenny. The trip itself was part of her A-Level photography course to obtain some images for a module on macro, the only trouble was it wasn't exactly the right time of year to do wildlife. So after some thought we decided to go for a macro shoot in a sheltered spot in a wood, it did not disappoint. There was plenty to photograph deep in the leaf litter in the couple of hours we were there. As for Jenny, she got the images she needed and passed with an A*. Grin

Many thanks for the votes and comments on the previous upload of the Poplar Hawk-moth caterpillar and also to Michael (michaelo) for your User Awards on the earlier images of the Bloody Nosed Beetle and Hoverfly, so very much appreciated.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
