The last in this short series, fits very well in the Silly Sunday theme, however there is a series note running alongside. After capturing my images for the day, I then decided to capture one 'last; image which involved me trying to cross a rather busy road. Not being to steady on my pins, I rather stupidly tried to cross, the road, whilst admiring the view through my view finder trying to create a composition. It was at the point that a rather large form of transport honked his horn, and reminded me what a 'plonker' I was. This was sternly reinforced by Julie, who in turn tore a couple of necessary strips from me. Certainly a lesson to be learned.

Thank you to you all for taking the time to look at and comment on this small set. What I gained the most from this experience is the way other people view my work, and the way that they can offer practical advice, and suggest modifications "which I have certainly followed" in which I am able to put to good use and thus improve the overall standard of my work.

I hope you all have a relaxing Sunday, and I look forward to admiring your work in turn. However I think my wife has got plans for today, which may involve the down-sizing before we move into our new home.

Regards Nathan

Another capture that we do not see on this site Nathan, the truck is just visable as a truck and the storm clouds gathering, stunning image and stunning series.

I think most of us here will recognise that moment where we've been a bit 'stupid' in getting a shot.
Glad you survived the moment, and will be around to delight us with your work for hopefully many years to come.
Fantastic atmosphere created in this image, too - great drama and depth.
