I would do a mod but I don't have access to any software at the moment. Is it just me or is it a little bit slanted. Can someone check the bottom of the window with the measure tool, please.

Other than that cool effect well captured.

I can see what Cheryl's on about, but I'm more inclined to think it's an optical illusion myself!....

Always a very difficult subject to capture with the general darkness contrasting with over exposed windows. This is done well though with good lighting effect and detailed ceiling. Nicely done.

Great the way the smoke has made the shafts of light stand out. My first thought was you'd introduced the shafts by digital manipulation - glad you didn't!

Exceptional Will, but no better than you're previous shots, and clearly popular for the cliche qualities - shafts of light... ooh aah!

All your shots deserve this much attention!

Cheers,

Lovely shot. I can see mwatkins using it in his manipulations Smile. Have to agree with some of the other comments, its an eyecatcher but many of your other shots have for me at any rate greater appeal.

I have to say Mr. Brealey, this really isn't my type of shot. I appreciate the technical merits of such a picture, but feel that there are many, many other pictures you have taken which are equally, if not more, deserving of such praise. You have an impressive range of ability. Tom

Thanks Tom... the chance was there so I grabbed it, there wasn't a great deal of technical ability involved... all praise should really go to my Pentax. I am really pleased with how these turned out although its slightly worrying that I've got about ten times as many clicks as usual for something that deviates wildly from my usual style.

I just got asked to submit a pic for the EPZ book, and its definitely one of my weakest shots IMO. Its a puzzle. I'm sure I'll continue to go against the grain on here... I may not often get as many clicks as this, but the people who regularly leave a comment on my work are definitely some of the best, most interesting members and that's something I'm proud of.
