This Cuckoo was giving me the look that say's
Definitely Not Sharing with you!!!

Please click for larger view.. rather proud!

To say I was over the moon to see this Cuckoo is an understatement!
the first time I have seen one... always heard but never seen.

I was sitting in full heat.. sun burnt face! in the middle of a field
with my feet down a rabbit warren...yep! very comfortable.
He stayed with us over half hour wandering and flying around
walked to withing 30 feet of me

Thank you for comments and awards on the Green Finch

Running late for start off for Bournemouth (macro frogs)
but wanted to share this with you all

I think this is the first time I have seen a cuckoo on site here, Lillian, and to be honest I would not have known what bird this was.
Excellent shot, and the fact it has it's lunch on display adds to the satisfaction you must have gained in this capture.

It's a cracking shot Lillian but needs a few tweaks........... it is very underexposed ( I see you were -1/3 ) it looks more than that..... Hard to believe no one has mentioned it.Sad

The camera has closed down against the light behind the bird.
I would suggest either pushing the shadow slider up about 30 % or go back to RAW and adjust exposure setting there.
