Flicking between both I'm not sure which I prefer. I love the conversion on the wreck but I'm not 100% about the change of sky as imo it competes a bit with the super textures in the boat.
Others may well disagree.

Excellent in b&w, although I think yesterdays one has the edge. Where abouts in Wexford was this taken Paul. I'm always down there but have never seen this.

Nice shot, it looks like the sky has been added?, the tones on the boat and sand are spot on.

Can't argue with the conversion nor with the choice of sky. A fine piece of work.

Works for me Paul and has a lot more drama than the colour version.

Nearly there, prefer the mono, but only by a whisker, nice work

Aha! I have this wreck in my PF too. A good angle on this one Paul.

P.

PS: The exact location is a wee village called Saltmills, on the "Ring Of Hook" drive.

This one loses nothing over vs. the colour version. And usually to my eye the conversions don't seem as interesting. So this is really good.

Looks hugely effective, full of drama, and the sky in the mono seems to make it to me.
