I could look at this one for a loooooong time and would never get bored - actually I just did ;-)
It is so peaceful and the light from the side, barely touching the decaying structure...beautiful like the gentle touch of an angel, just reassuring that everything will be alright...in the end.
Isabel :-)

Stunning rework Mark - beautiful LE and blue tones.
I have an image of this before the storm which destroyed it further.
Excellent subject with the LE.

Lovely image Mark. Shame that such an icon has been reduced to a skeletal and corroding edifice, probably soon to disappear. Well captured here with fabulous sea effect and a lovely graphic image. Have you tried a B&W version?

My god it looks like its floating in the clouds, brilliant! :)
This, for me, is an inspiring shot and I am sooo jealous. I love the simplicity, the muted tones and the composition. It's just very very good. I would deffo hang this on my wall.
Great capture and processing :)

No.
It's the remains of "The West Pier."
"Brighton Pier," which will forever be known to Brightonians as "The Palace Pier" is still in good health.

The LE has worked well to isolate the delicate structure and allow appreciation of its dilapidated beauty. Well thought out and exposed, it's a beauty.
