Another of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in action earlier in the week. Taken just after take off over the folly, which is called Olliver Ducket. When i went to edited this, i couldn't believe how much dust and rubbish appeared to be on my sensor/lens etc, then after taking a closer look realised it's actually dust thrown up by the rotor of the helicopterTongue

Olliver Ducket was built by Sir Conyers D'arcy after he acquired Aske estate in 1727. It's thought to be on the site of an old look out tower and may have been used as a dovecote, as ducket is a corruption if the word.

All C&Cs welcome

Thanks for looking

A great image, Den - the dust detail is amazing, if a little worrying at first!

Some serious muck-spreading going on hereTongue. The yellow is quite striking against the sky, and the folly is a perfect addition to the image.
