Cliff, V1 is astoundingly beautiful and V2 is stunningly beautiful.
The shade of green of V3's background is too close to the green of the stem.
Otherwise, it would've been strikingly beautiful. Smile

I'd prefer a little border round V1 to separate from black outer border.
V2 is so different with those cyan blues and I must admit I really like it.
I also like V3 with all the greens and yellows and I do like the top of the flower in the frame.
Well done for all these experiments - it's very therapeutic.
Great experimentation all three have their own merits . I do like v1 for purity & v2 for
The unusual quality

V1... Normally I wouldn't go for the colour, and green isn't my favourite colour - but even the bug matches.

Very interesting work, Cliff - three super images of which V2 is the one for me today!

Three superb images Cliff. V1 is stunning and I love the process in V2.

Three very good variations on a theme, Cliff
V3 really needs a more toned-down bg, I feel. It is competing with the subject, however I do like the processing.
V1 would perhaps have benefited from having the top included at the expense of the lower flower? And as Kate says, a white 2 pixel border would have halped.
V2 is gorgeous, beautiful hues and my favourite.

Cliff has to be V2 for me
a rather special image
But well executed series of images
