I'll second sherlob's observation of how difficult it is to set up a still life - we have to re-arrange things many times as they look different through the lens - we need a companion to move things as we look in the lens!

Another very lovely still-life here, Janet 👍 As said above, it can be difficult producing a still-life - what to include, what to exclude and how to arrange it. With outdoor scenes everything's arranged for you, you just have to compose! 😃

Nice one! Do you have a trick for keeping cut roses alive? 99% of those I have ever had never open

Not really,I chop and inch or so off the bottom of the stems and crush them about 2 inches up the stem, also I change the water every day, they are kept in the cool shade in my kitchen with a drop of sugar in the water. I must have bought a good batch !!
