Yellow Wagtail

By mtble
Nice to see the Yellow Wagtails back again. I sat by the local gravel pit and was watching them displaying and chasing each other around.

The Yellow and sub-species are not as easy to get close to as Pied/white and Grey...
ALSO: In with the Yellows you may find such ssp. I had Blue-headed at Dungeness and today at Salthouse Ashy-headed so give them a good scanning !!!

I know what you mean about getting close to them. This was as close as this fella was gonna let me get and this wasn't brilliant. I will have to go and have another look and see if i can get any better pictures and check the rest of them out for the sub species.
Cheers
