Yet to come

By helenlinda
I was very pleased to get the timing right for taking photos of the tree peony as we had dreadful hailstorms in the afternoon and today they are a real mess !!!
So many thanks for your clicks and comments yesterday.
These flowers are from my orange blossom [Philadelphus] tree which is yet to bloom. They are not from the main tree. We have kept the stems to use as supports for plants and this one just happened to shoot.
My mother was also rather good at getting twigs and stems to shoot. We had a fence down the garden and she stuck all sorts of things along it and after some years we had wonderful hedge of blackthorn, beech, forsythia and other things.
Thanks for looking
Helen

Had a heavy hailstorm here last Tuesday night, size of peas the stones were! 😲 A very beautiful close-up here, Helen 😃👍
