Young Pioneers, the Marxist equivalent of The Boy Scouts. After winning their merit badges, a tour of Skopje is a reward for this boys from different provinces. That year saw a lot of young students on field trips to neighboring provinces. It was if they were aware those days were numbered. I competed with them for hotel vacancies, although six bunched up in each single.
