Ypsilon

By saltireblue
Taken not so long ago in my local town of Drammen. A footbridge over the river which splits the town.
The bridge is called the Ypsilon bridge due to its shape, It is a 'conventional' form at the East end bank, but splits into two as it nears the west bank of the river.

Given my normal treatment in good ol' SilverEfex. Goodness knows what I'd do without that software - probably be posting images of birds on sticks! (quelle horreur!!!) No birds in flight images, though, as I have BPPV and get all woozy when looking up for more than a couple of seconds...Wink

Many thanks to all those who expressed their liking for my previous effort, in the form of comments, awards and votes - all very appreciated.

Thanks for bothering.
Malc

Good morning, neighbour Malcolm.
I remember the Ypsilon Bridge well. In my imagination I cross from the east as far as the junction and then stop to dither before returning westwards, undecided.
In real life I just followed you across!

Herewith your weekly gong.

Looks doom-laden, deserted. I like the effect on the water, as does Alfred.

A fine dramatic mono, Malc 👍 Though I don't do much mono work, I did initially instal the Nik Collection for its SilverEfex. I now use ColorEfex in all my processing! 😃

No need to look who'd taken this - the trademark composition and processing speaks for itself. The customary gong is a pleasure.

You certainly make good use of Nik Silver Efex - dramatic images with a hint of mystery.

Looks a lonely walk but a safe one with lots of handrails to rest your camera on.

Oh dear, clocked in late again! Alarm didn't go off. All said above.

It is a thing of darkness, I love it.

So, during the council meeting somebody suggested building two bridges across the river and the accountant asked Y?
