Another bit of plastic tat entered my life a couple of weeks ago - charity shop again and I couldn't resist. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with him but am for now he's propped up on a shelf ..........................

Once again no snaps were taken during the day today - work, Tesco at lunchtime and then home again - a route done time and again and nothing inspiring spotted. However I did have a flower upstairs that I'd picked the other day so thought I'd pop tha...

Ledley on the bedroom windowsill - as soon as he realised I was there then any hope of getting a snap was gone :)

    302/365

I was terribly selfish today and chose not to go to the care home this afternoon and have Sunday all for me. I did do a few domestic chores but also popped into town for a wander as there was a street fair thing on so I had a look. Not much of inte...

Blimey it's been a long day. I left the house at 8am to make my usual journey, by bus, over to Tetbury. I arrive at 10.30 having used three buses. Unfortunately I missed my usual bus home which is 3.30 so had to wait until 6.20pm for the last one ...

    All's Well?

Well, an update to the Frostie story. After two weeks being homed at the vet's, the owners still hadn't claimed him. Anyway, the next day, home-made posters appeared on trees and lampposts asking if anyone had seen a pure white cat as he'd gone mis...

    300/365

As I walked back to the house this evening I noticed the road was awash with big puddles and wotnot. It hadn't been raining - a burst pipe instead. It was with some trepidation that I turned on the taps when I got in but happily all was well - poss...

    The power of nature

The arch is no more! The changing landscape at Porthcothnan Bay, transformed after a storm on January 7th 2014. Last Sunday was my first visit since those storms battered the North Cornwall coast when it was news that the arch had gone. To see how...

So today turned out considerably cooler and I wasn't complaining at all. There was a lack of sunshine until this evening but that's ok. Again I only took a walk around the block and sat in the playing field at lunchtime. Again consequently no snap...

    Cherry

An ex cherry blossom. They look rather pretty with or without petals. The cherries on our tree are just ripening but the tree's very old and the fruit doesn't taste so nice these days. And it's quite small. And the birds get most of the cherries....

I did have a boring pic of the playing field that was going to be uploaded today - flipping warm again and that's as far as I went at lunchtime. I wish it was a proper park rather than a sports field but hey ho................. However I noticed a ...

    297/365

Alas another day when only one photo was taken on the mobile. Generally my routine trip to and from work has little of interest and today I only went round the block at lunchtime. I really need to make more effort! I did at least take a snap at th...

I had the day off today and went to Cirencester for a potter. Blimey - again it was rather warm so I didn't do the amount of walking I'd normally do so I just bumbled around the charity shops, up through part of the Bathurst Estate and then the anti...

    Everything's Coming Up Tomatoes :-)

Took some snaps of my tomatoes today. I've not grown any fruit or veg before so I'm really thrilled to see that they're emerging. The biggest of these is about half an inch diameter, so a way to go yet. I put a vintage camera filter over one of th...

I went over to Tewkesbury today and was rather annoyed to find that the powers that be had installed what I presume are bike 'racks' in an alleyway that I've photographed numerous time - and spoiled it somewhat
