    One More

Hi, I'm Conrad, and I'm a windmill addict. I've been sober for two days, but now I just have to upload another windmill shot. Sorry, but I can't help myself. So ... here's another one, processed with Snapseed:

    Project 365-183

Halfway through the 365 project and I'm amazed I got this far. Another of the shell, this time on a sheet of black perspex. Cloning the dust off the perspex was a nightmare, and I thought I had cleaned it! Bigger view

    Photo 365 - Number 136 - Moving Sheds

Bum - upload isn't working and my waffling has gone. I said something to the effect that I kinda hoped this shed move would go horribly wrong and I could photograph it all crashing down but alas no - it went fine. HERE it is.....

A lightbulb, a sheet of black perspex, a laser pointer and some dodgy PS work make up today's image. Bigger

    The Complete Digital Photo Manual.

Published in association with Digital Photo Magazine. Currently 5.99 in The Works. (Down from 20) Really excellent publication...I've learned quite a bit in the last few days. I would highly recommend this book to every digital photographer.

    Project 365-181

    Photo 365 - Number 135 - the set-up

I did my entry for the Weekly Black & White Challenge tonight HERE IT IS. It took flipping ages to set up - fishing line up to the boom arm to hold the bike in place, nylon thread tied to the stands at the side to hold the poles vertical and a fai...

    App Happy

I realise that not everyone likes grunge effects, old film looks and arty-looking borders for iPhone photos. So although I've started liking all of those options more and more, sometimes you just have to try less drastic methods, right? So here's ...

    Photo 365 - Number 134 - Failed Still Life

I thought I'd bung together a still life pic earlier this evening - and made a fair old pig's ear of it. Wrong texture I think so I'll have a rummage through my collection and see what else I can find. The evening has shot by - and I've very litt...

    Project 365-180

I'm aware that this is not the best pic in the world, however it was a practice run while short of time with the new iPad Adobe Photoshop Touch app. Initial impressions are good, lots of tools but I need to delve further to see what it can really do....

    Snapseed Windmill

Looking through my pictures from last Saturday, I can see a few more shots that may be worth showing you. Snapseed is quickly becoming one of my favourite apps. I quite like all the diverse possibilities it offers to almost instantly and very easi...

    Photo 365 - Number 133 - Snowdrops

I took very few pics today - as it was blue sky and sunshine out there I got stuck into a bit of garden blitzing - lots of tidying up, cutting back, dumping of empty pots etc. I've filled the brown bin again and the garden is ready for planting up. ...
