    365 Day 107 - Finding Fallen Friends

Steviecart and I visited the Tower Hill Memorial near The Tower of London. It commemorates those from the Merchant Navy and fishing fleets who died during both world wars and have "no grave but the sea". Steve spotted this chap who seemed to be c...

    Photo 365 - Number 317 - Him Again

I thought I'd see if I could recreate my 'Me and My Teddy Bear' pic with my new friend but his shoulders will need a bit of modifying first. It amused me for a while however :)

    Equestrian Paralympics

Sophie Wells on Pinocchio winning her round this morning of the Grade IV Dressage at Greenwich. Go Sophie and Team GB! :) I took the G11 but it didn't really have the reach and it was a very bright day. I saw some people with DSLRs and long lenses...

    365 Day 106 - Fireworks

End of the paralympics opening ceremony and it's time for fireworks. It's a bit of a cheat but as these went off after midnight, they count as being in the next day for me.

    Great Balls of Fire

From the Royal Armouries. Wouldn't you just hate to have these shot at you? I know I would. I'd object strongly to that, I'm certain of it. Anyway, this image was processed with Infinicam.

    Project 365-365

That's it. 365 days, 365 pictures (and a couple of videos). Sometimes it's been easy, other times inspiration has been hard to find but I got there in the end. Looking back the year has flown past yet I can still remember the thinking behind every ph...

    Time to start a list

My boss has asked me what pressie I'd like in November when I'll have been slaving for him for 25 years. Needless to say it's going tp be camera related - time to upgrade the Sony A350 and I shall have to sit down and decide just which nice new ca...

    The Postman's Park

Aldersgate, London. This road leads from St Paul's underground up to the Barbican. About half way along is a small church next to which is the Postman's Park. One of London's quiet corners. Here's just a snap of the ferns with some original building...

    Photo 365 - Number 315 - Bread

And blimey it's very nice bread too. Bought to accompany some tomatoes and garlic for still life pics but I'm afraid it's disappearing at an alarming rate and the rest will be gone soon. What's more, I got to M&S as they were pricing up the last of...

    Belisha

Snazzy new Belisha beacons at the zebra crossings around the O2 (Dome) arena. They've put two rows of little LCD lights which flash around the main one. No idea why, surely we can still all see the main light in the middle. :)

    Size Matters

Well, to some it does. Of course, I can think of plenty people who don't think size matters, I can think of plenty of situations in which bigger isn't better. But sometimes you just can't get around it - size can impress. And at the Royal Armourie...
