52 for 2013 Week 51

topsyrmHere is a shot taken with my new 55-200 Fuji Zoom lens, hand-held sitting awkwardly in a car with the engine running. OIS did it's stuff. As always, comments welcome.

52 for 2013 Week 43

topsyrmAnother week away on course, at The Cricklade Hotel. These trees are on the edge of their golf course so I took the opportunity to shoot them into sun on the Sunday evening (the only good weather all week). You can see the colour version in my portfolio. As always, comments welcome.

52 for 2013 Week 42

topsyrmHere's a shot of the jetty at Chesil Fleet, shot using a grad grey to balance the image then vignetted in post for that old world look. As always, comments welcome.

52 for 2013 Week 40

topsyrmIt was Saturday and I still didn't have a shot worth posting, then I went into Tavistock Pannier Market in the afternoon totry some "street photography" (I know the market isn't strictly in the street but any port in a storm) when I spotted these fellows. As always, comments welcom...

52 for 2013 Week 37

topsyrmAnother sort of abstract this week of a shot from the roof of Tregantle Fore in Cornwall overlooking a feild of straw bales. As always, comments welcome.

Dave_HendersonI was a little stumped as to what image I could upload tonight but on my way to the corner shop I noticed someone had dumped this sofa in the street so went back and got out the compact, took the shot, then to the shop. Hope the rain keeps away. "There's always the morn"

52 for 2013 Week 27

topsyrmHere is a shot of the old Jetty on the Chesil Fleet near Tidmore Point with the tide out. As always, comments welcome.

PloughmanNot sure where all the time goes, in fact I`m not sure where any of it goes. However in the last week I have traveled around 230 miles, taken over 150 photos and also done the shots of Poppy. Poppy is a beautiful black Labrador who is photogenic but has poor self control. (meaning she was not intere...

52 for 2013 Week 26

topsyrmAnother week where, for reasons beyond my control, I was unable to get out much but thankfully my neighbour's garden is rather overgrown at the moment so this is a shot of a bush trying to grow through his fence towards the sunshine. Here's the colour version. As always, comments wel...

52 for 2013 Week 25

topsyrmA tough week this week, bad weather and a work conference away meant little opportunity to get out with the X-Pro, however, my neighbor's garden fence came to the rescue. As always, comments welcome.

365 - 11 - A moment in time

Dave_HendersonBorrowed this old fifties 120mm box camera for a while. I'll use it in the near future (as a prop) when I can get hold of some old junk to go along with it. In the mean time, the pic beside the camera is of me, after the first week of nine years service in the R.N. Taken on Sunday 18th February 196...

52 for 2013 Week 19

topsyrmNo Bluebells were harmed in the making of this shot of one of the first Bluebells to show in our garden, it stands alone for some reason, I merely put a white reflector behind it to remove the distracting background. This is the original colour one. As always, comments welcome.

Dave_HendersonOut and about this morning with the 5D and my favourite lens, a Sigma 12-24mm. Whilst composing this shot the guy appeared from nowhere. The shutter speed was .5 sec. A pity it was so slow, a 20th of a second may have been better.

52 for 2013 Week 9

topsyrmOnce again due to work I was not able to get out until Saturday which fortunately was a nice day with plenty of sunshine. Here is this week's photo which is an old stable block on the edge of Dartmoor which seems to have been converted for living in (note the chimney). As always, comments we...
