British Camp is an Iron Age hill fort located at the Southern tip of the Malvern Hills. It offers dramatic evening and morning opportunities as the light models the contoured ramparts and rolling hills but you can find lots of interesting compositions of the surrounding Worcerstershire and Herefordshire countryside with a telephoto.
Evening is the best time for shots of the western side of the hills but September-October favours the morning images as the sun glances off the Autumn colours. October and November find the surrounding valleys bathed in mist and fog.
Thee is a parking lot at the base of British Camp that costs 2 pounds for the day. There is also a very nice pub just across from the parking lot. There are other parking areas located all around the hills as well.
