Just a rowan...............

By glenalva
Just an image of a tree lol!! Grin I'm a tree-hugger for sure. So, I couldn't resist taking a pic of this beautiful looking rowan tree. I loved the shape of this tree and how it looked at that particular moment....all lit up with stormy light and against the threatening sky.

Thanks for all your comments and votes on my last upload folks, very much appreciated. Smile

That lovely light sets the tree off perfectly and a sky to die for.

That's been growing and maturing for a few years.............we've just planted 6 new Rowans, they are all different varieties so will be interesting to watch their development over the coming years..............GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

The light and sky make a fine image, Ali. The blackbirds are stripping our rowans at the moment.

Thanks Ray........I did get caught in a very sudden, very heavy downpour...........but no jacket, no brolly. Luckily this was handheld so no tripod to faff with, I shoved the camera up my jumper. Grin It didn't last too long though, thankfully!!

You are so lucky to have this kind of Light, something that we don't have and at this time of day it's so harsh, I put my camera away. Just beautiful Ali, very special Images. I have enjoyed my short Visit and will be back???
