V1 for the colour, V2 for the reaction. And the iPad is intereting as a photo device!

I never use lenses this long - well, hardly ever - and so have little idea of how well my Alpha 900 would stabilise the shot. But it woudl certainly have a go, I think... An interesting split between the two firms that began IS with film cameras, and have stuck with putting it in the lens, and all the rest, who put it in the body.

They say lens IS works better with long lenses: but body-integral works with every lens.

Sorry for this techie digression on a lovely set of shots.

This looks very familiar, Lillian GrinGrin Oriental ladies in red clothes taking each others photos on their ipads! Not entirely successful yesterday, only half-a-dozen rows in flower at the moment, the main crop is about 10 days off. Took a few but nothing spectacular then a cub scout pack descended and started racing up and down the rows!! Not very well sign-posted either...

I like the way you fill the frame with the lavender, Lillian, and the diagonal line of the girls in their colourful clothing.
In V3 it looks like someone was overcome by the heady perfume.

Great set of images Lilian. We had a similar group at our local poppy fields a couple of years ago - they had one hat between them and kept passing it round them all to pose in amongst the poppies!! GrinGrin Lou

V2 made me chuckle...I don't think that was before being noticed Grin

But V4 is my favourite simply because of the way that lady is holding the invisible trout. "That's not the way, lady!"
