Flowerpot Island

No one lives on this island, but in the summer you can camp and go hiking here. There are tour boats that bring you here and pick you up. There were originally three flowerpots on the island (one fell down in 1903). These seastacks were created by waves pounding at the cracks in the limestone, gradually wearing away the softer lower limestone from the harder dolomite top. The resulting shape resembles a giant flowerpot.

It's a huge difference upgrading to D 7000 - had same model, incl. D 7100 on my wishlist and changed to Olympus OM-D E-M5, cause of the weight problem, can't carry a big canon including these lenses...

but these new images are really amazing....WinkWinkWinkWinkWink
