Day 5 - Just a Ship in the Night

Yes, i know this post is a day late, but i ended up work a late shift last night so i delayed it until now.

I was working on the port last night, shifting stuff about. Been a while since i was last there, but this ship has been sat in port since then.

This is the Sertao Drilling Ship, registered in the Marshal Islands, it's owned and operated by Schahin Petroleo e Gas SA, who are based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

She was built in 2012 and measures 228 m by 28 m, has a draught of 12.03m, a groos tonnage of 60316t, a net tonnage of 18094t and a dead weight oft61537t, not really any idea what that means, but if someone would like to enlighten me that'd be great.
