When i was a kid, there was always comics in the house, the 3 of choice were, the Beano, Dandy and The Victor.
My Favourite was always the Beano, i think mostly because the star was called Dennis.
Anyway my wife returned recently from shopping with an iPad wallet, with a retro Beano cover printed on it, which caught my eye this evening, when looking for a subject for today.
Strangely though, on closer inspection, this particular issue was dated 18th Oct 1980, our wedding day 17 years later. And i would definitely have seen the original comic, also i wouldn't be surprised if said comic wasn't lurking in a box somewhere at my parents house.
