A rare day today, it stayed dry and i manage to grab some shots at dinnertime today. Taken a ceiling down today at a house we are refurbishing and discovered this wasps nest and the start of another.
Found this masterpiece of natural engineering, between the roof and external wall of our current project, fortunately it was no longer active. It's such a beautiful thing and is amazing to think it's built of nothing but wood and spit. I assume the different colours are caused by different types of wood, i could be wrong though.
I'm sure someone will put me right if i'm wrong.
