Rooftops and Chimney Pots!

Just got back in from a couple of days away in Edinburgh. We drove up yesterday morning, parked by the Airport and got the bus into the city, as we couldn't check into our hotel until at least two.

We figured we would spend the afternoon at The National Museum. Loads of interesting stuff to look at and sure we didn't see the half of it.

Before we went someone told me that they had a roof terrace with great views over the city, so that was my target at some point.

We did, but would like to have stayed a little longer, although will be heading back there at some point. Smile

Glad to hear it - I've been going up for about 10 years now - same two weeks in August though occasionally at different times of the year. Although I've got to know the city fairly well, there's still loads of spots I've yet to explore!
