Modern Time, the old fashioned way.

Just before i went on holiday i had a quick trawl around on fleabay, can't remember what i was specifically looking for, but ended up looking for something i'd wanted for a while.




A pocket watch, this particular one was the bargain price of 99p plus postage. It was only when it landed on the friday before we went away, i discovered a couple of things the seller had neglected to say, the first is it's battery power and flat, not mechanical which was really what i was after, and secondly the back was a very loose fit, and would drop off really easily.

Neither major problems and both of which i sorted during lunchtime, so now i'm the proud owner a perfectly serviceable pocket watch made of Mullingar pewter, which in total has still cost less than 9 quid.
