More from the garage.
With this super little find, which was tucked away in a plastic bag with a load of junk.
This is a Dinky toy model of a Supermarine Swift.
The Supermarine Swift was a single seater fighter, built during the 1950's. After a protracted development period, the Swift entered service as an interceptor, but, due to a spate of accidents, its service life was short.
Dinky Toys were die-cast zamac miniature vehicles produced by Meccano Ltd – makers of Hornby Trains, named after founder Frank Hornby. Dinky Toys in England were made from 1935 to 1979. The factory was at Binns Road, Liverpool, England.
