Popped into town today, and after coffee, the lovely Mrs H and daughter 1 & 2, disappeared off to a particularly shop. Which left me and the boy, to spent a little time watching the world go by.
We took up a spot at the base of the obelisk, and optimistically waiting for the tree lights to come, but alas a watched pot never boils!
Anyway this church is now the home of the Green Howards Regimental Museum, but also still contains a chapel that is still in use.
Also in the past there were a couple of shops joined to it, where the benches are now. It's always fascinating to see old pics of the place.
