Snake Eyes

So for Christmas i recieved a set of extension tubes, a cheaper alternative to a macro lens, i did think long and hard about whihc route to take but in the end i figures that i don't do enough macro photography to justify a lens so i settled for the tubes.

I had a quick play with them and i think they'll do the job nicely, once i've had a bit more time to master them.




So this is one of the results, of my first play.

It's my ring, the only one i wear these days. It once belonged to my Grandfather, who i'm named after, and it came to me on my 18th Birthday, some 17 years after my Grandfather passed away. And 4 years later it became my wedding ring, after i'd had it reduced some 3 sizes to fit my finger.
