A little horny...

I can't help feeling the title might have built this up a bit. Anyway another glorious day up here and back on the roof. More Buzzards about today and again not really close enough for me to get a decent shot.

So again settled for something a little more static.

Had a stroll around the farm buildings at lunch time and came across this and a few others. I would suggest that this used to belong to a Swaledale Sheep.

Horn is apparently made from Keratin and other proteins surrounding a core of live bone.
