Heart & Dart

By Ade_Osman
X3 Magnification of what I remember to be a Heart & Dart moth.......Only I have to admit to forgetting, I'm getting old!! Wink

25 image stack shot in the studio/shed Smile Moth chilled in the fridge before shooting for 10 minutes and was returned alive and well to the wild afterwards. Quite like the details shown in the eye and proboscis in this one.

Many thanks to Matt Berry, Nigel Kiteley and Annette38's very kind User Awards on yesterday's dragonfly image, as always they're muchly appreciated folks.....

Thanks for looking in........Ade

Fantastic detail in this extreme close up Ade, compared with most of the moths we see he looks quite hard and bristly rather like a brush or a hedgehog. If this fine specimen had showed a bit more heart & dart he would have evaded capture and we would not have got to see him appear on epz in all his glory!Wink

Sunning quality capture again Ade, old age comes to us all, when I am in the pub I sometimes forget when it's time to go home.
