This is so, so good. Every dent and scratch tells a story. Every rounded edge on every fastener is testament to a grazed knuckle, a bloody thumb. The pattern of marks on the surface is like impressionist brushstrokes, like Vincent's Starry Night hammered out of iron and steel.

Another of many wonderful shots on this site that prompts me to look at things around me much more attentively. I think Vambomarbleye's comment is a joy in itself and spot on! The precision of the composition and exposure is wonderful.
