Great image of abandoned brick-a-brack. And thanks to Google we know something about the Maj. General . . . . assuming it is the same guy.

The image suggests the Major's chest (and that old empty champagne case) might be exposed to the elements. I hope not, but now, they are saved for posterity in the electronic ether.
