Nice colors, very vibrant. Consider tighter cropping, keep the full blown petal and few of the new pots. So the subject will be more prominent.

Hard to get shots without scaring them and with your 20mm settings you would most definitely not get close enough to capture a close up, I do not mind the wider view showing the environment that they live in for their short lives, the photo is very sharp considering the slightest wind movement would render the photo unusable, one thing to consider would be to look at composition more and try not to have the main subject centralised but on a third, look on the net for rule of thirds, saying all that I love the photo and award you with my User Award.

The colours are beautiful, is just the composition of your photo's that needs a little work. I agree with the above though, is still a beautiful picture and you should be very pleased with it........................John
