She should not be shy of the camera, as is very beautiful. You are a lucky man, a very lovely looking family indeed.

Am camera shy myself, so know how she feels about being photographed. Again the same with the children, take a portrait when she is not aware of the camera as they are the best. Sometimes direct eye contact with the lens works, but you still can't beat a distant look. Take and hang a nice portrait, she will be more relaxed once she sees a great image taken with the heart. Try to feel the emotion they are showing, take it in and express that in the image you take. Close facial images can be very powerful and beautiful also......................John
