This picture I put together awhile back. Maybe breaking some copyright rules, but I got the Viper pics from a model makers sight, the grand canyon from the U.S.G.S.and the planet pic from N.A.S.A. cut the models out from the plain backgrounds. The hard part was finding ship pics taken at just the right angle for the composition.

The flames were painted in by me.

Then the ships were darkened darkened where needed and tinted, which was dictated by the canyon picture.

The sky in the canyon picture was cut out then faded and left in the original canyon pic so the planet picture could be placed behind it to create the effect it was being seen throught atmosphere. It started out with avery dark starscape.

the last step was to save it as a jpeg and add a painting effect and some noise to help blend all the individual pieces together.

many hours of work went into making this piece and I hope you all think it has a place on this sight.I was A little leary about posting it.

Well I like it and certainly think it was worth the long hours to create.

Not sure it's strictly in keeping with the site but I'm a fine one to talk after my Fun Friday effort today.

Sorry Collette,All the work for this picture was done with Microsoft Picture It Platinum.

Far cheaper to buy,and much more intuitive to use I think.
