The Colours

By A2TheMerlin
The regimental colours of The Royal Anglian Regiment at the Anglian Day at The Imperial War Museum, Duxford. An annual gathering of old comrades and present serving members at The Beating of the Retreat. The "Colours" are the most important item within the unit. It represents over 300 years of tradition and commenorates the honours won in battle whilst serving the monarch and country. It is also the commenoration of those soldiers, of all ranks, who have lost their lives in the service of their country.

A very emotive image, so full with bravery, passion, and valour. A great Regiment whom I have had the great privilege to work alongside.

Regards Nathan
