playing at the 'World Class Blues Event', 07 May at the Ent Shed, Bedford ...

Exposure was at ISO 640 - 1/60 sec @ f2.8 - lens (as you can well imagine) mounted on a sturdy tripod!

Don't know how you keep up with the action using a tripod. Personally I like to be more mobile, as the bands usually are. I wouldn't discourage it though, whatever works for you, the shot is the most important thing.

An excellent poartrait, as good as if you'd set it up in a studio.

Davey, half the time I use a monopod, but for the 70-200 I tend to tripod mount the lens and be patient, lol ... that said, Steve is a bit of a ducker and diver when he's performing, so it took a while to get this!
