Small Skipper Stack

By fishiee
One from a couple of weeks back messing about with stacking images again. This time I tried with about 8 or 9 frames as the front to back distance was quite big on this. Photoshop struggled a bit more with this one and required a bit of cleaning up afterwards - probably due to me not doing the best of jobs getting each frame quite perfect!

End result full size is quite impressive with super detail right through and as an A3 print you'd really see the extra depth of field achieved. At just this 1000 pixel size you don't really see it though. I had a go with a few Blues this past week so might see how they come out. I now have to be careful not to delete the images when skimming through them at the end of the day as they might be the ones I need to complete the set rather than just a duff shot now!

Hopefully no dust spots this time. Did this one in the evening a few nights back so I could see what I was doing! Wink

I notice that EXIF data is retained which surprised me. Not sure which of the images it takes that from when it's a combination of several!

Brown Hairstreak hunting tomorrow woohoo! But at the same time it also means the end is nigh for this butterfly season Sad
