acarden

Hi, I am re-discovering SLR photography after a twenty year gap. (Previously used a Canon AE-1 film camera). Now have a Sony Alpha A350 which I am really pleased with, I have two lenses now doing the work, a SONY DT 18-70, Sigma DG 70-300.
Still trying to find my niche, I don't really devote enough time to specific projects, tending to flit between different subjects. Jack of all trades, definitely master of none!
After a sizable gap, I am making time for photography again Smile
In the bag now, I have a Sony Alpha A58, and a Sony A200 backup. I hope to be able to produce something half-decent. Thanks for looking Ash. (February 2016)

Lovely light capture, I also like the way it was dead-on 7pm Smile

  • The Lloyd's building. Leadenhall Street

Apologies for the sideways view, not sure what happened, must have been during the upload process.. Anyway, this is the Lloyd's building in London.

It reminds me of a venetian style masquerade mask. Nice shot. Smile

  • Helvelyn, just past striding edge, looking down into red tarn

Thanks both. Yes, the tarn is called Red Tarn, but I mis-spelled the sister peak on the left in the title, it is "Catstye Cam". Agree that the picture looks flat / dull in places.
