Crosshead

Spurred on by "Icmonster's" fine image I decided to eschew the psudo-reportage today and set out to create a Futurist picture. For a long time now I have thought that a lathe crosshead holds potential. I've still a way to go technically but I hope people like this / find it intriguing.

Spend many a day fussin with those controls... Difficult picture due to all the different surfaces. Have a lathe pic in my PF you might like

is it a Colchester or a Harrison, my money is on a Colchester

I'm pretty sure its a Colchester but shall check tomorrow. I wasn't quite happy with the composition and after posting found one I was much happier with - post in haste, repent at leisure! I shall put it up tomorow despite not originally intending to have 2 on this subject.
