Another where detail is lost due to the printing I'm afraid. I set the aperture with the camera pointing at the ground so I'm confident the photo itself is not under exposed. However, with this image of the Harrier at the '06 Shoreham Airshow I think I managed to get a better picture than usual. The pilot was doing a short take off with partially vectored thrust (you can see the leading nozzle position on the side of the fuselage). Because it was partly lifting with the engine rather than purely with the wing he could perform an immediate roll as soon as he got airborne. I think this with the blurring of the background due the exhaust gives a real sense of dynamics and power.
