At The Carwash

By ade_mcfade
Just re-loaded this, Paul Sutton spotted a hole in the shot - I've darkened the sky on this quite a bity so the stars stand out, and there was a bit of sky that the Select tool left out...

Just cloned in the hole so it looks a bit better!

It's a disused car wash, dave hirst was tgaking photos of me and my camera was just sat around looking at the sky... whilst switched on, and it got this Smile

Hi Ade, really love this shot. It has just crept into my weekly award shortlist and wins by a mile! Love the colours and the subject matter. Deserves many more votes!

Ta for the award Tony - much appreciated.

Moonlight makes things look more surreal than any other lighting I reckon. It's almost like sunlight when you leave the camera on long enough, yet you get star trails and the like!

Really like it. Saw it yesterday wasn't sure about the light on my far right, but I guess it balances out with the light on my left.

looks a bit like a mexican adobe from the thumb, i like the effort taken to create the star trails and the colour left in the sky, the bit of graphiti holds well,

would have been a great idea to trail a set of tail lights across the foreground and into the wash wouldnt it, got my head buzzin in gear again you are a bad influence

like Xmas fairy lights?

You can get LED battery powered lights that I've thought of getting for this kind of thing.not done it yet though.

this was taken whilst Dave was photographing me - I just abandoned the camera in the middle of the car park, switched on!
