Seems like ages since I've photographed a Groyne - that lovely feeling of water entering your boots as a slightly bigger wave than anticipated approaches...

This is of course Sandsend, next to whitby. Was pretty busy up there being good friday as you'd expect.

Think this was about 6 seconds, had the 17-40 @ F22, a polariser and 5 ND stops on to get that long exposure.

Chris was with me with a 10-stop ND for his 50mm prime, they looked pretty cool too 0 though a bugger to compose when the filters on... just black through the eyepiece

Colours were ok, but a quick blast of Mono made this a no brainer really.

works well in mono would like to see colour as well.

Re 10 stop dont compose with filter in place like you say its just black almost. Take the whole lot off compose and slip it back on. Seconds to do
