A slightly different ariel portrait of Chris taken in a field near Tadcaster.
Note that Chris didn't squash any barley - he was in a tractor track when taking this leap.
a 550EX and 430EZ both on high looking down onto Chris
All good fun, and for the landscape lovers, a lovely sky too

Fabulous work. Wonderfully creative.
love the shot it really comes out of the screen nice work
Great work. I must admit that the sky adds a lot.
Looks excellent Ade, superbly lit - lol re the sky but it is good
A good image with that touch of originality. A well conceived and executed image. Andy
Now, this is a cracker.
Stunning shot Ade. Hats off time for sure! The lighting and execution is just superb. If this doesn't get a HC, then there's no justice!
That is definitely not grown up behaviour ... like it
another good un....
Great piece of work, well conceived.
Very grown up comic book image. Great colour and there's a certain amount of unique style about it and more than a touch of playfulness too. My wee niggle is the sky and the leg being in perfect alignment makes for a bit of a false appearance... great fun tho'. helen
Great shot Adrian.
Terrific, love everything about this image.
great creative image
What fun 2 men in a field can have...and a brilliant image at the end as well.
Like this a lot Ade, the timing and effect is great. I've just started reading a book called the 'Hot Shoe Diaries'. Admittedly it's geared around the Nikon CLS system, but it's put me on a great learning curve about using off camera flash. Plus it's fun having a good play too!!
I must look for that book as well then...
Looks close to the Dave Hill look Ade, great lighting but a bit to tango on the face otherwise i love the image its very creative and the lighting is spot on. I have seen a lot of images like this on other sites but this is very well done. keep up the good work Ade.
wow the boy can jump
id say thats probably my favourite shot of yours since the best of the powerstation sunsets. i think its incredible. nuf said
One of your best creative flash pics.
Made me smile and also admire the skill needed to take this shot.

utterly mad, but a superb result
Amazing how much you have managed to pull out of the raw file, well processed image and great concept shot.
Don't say I never give you anything.
Great work Ade, hope you bought him a pint afterwards.
great work, love the change from the original to the enhanced and beautifully processed v1 excellent
I liked it last night and still do mate
Creative use of chris and the light.
Still would give it an award myself as i like it
Cant give a pa,but i can give my award
Most of the processing was done in Capture One with Curves and stuff - no too much in photoshop except sharpening the barley
oh - and thanks for the user awards Cole, Dave and Martin
Very inventive, one of your best in a long time.
