Better than your last one and that's saying summat. The light on that mooring stump thing is beautiful and I love the separation between the reflections and 'it' too Wink

ya spoted the separation Smile

took lots of crawling, tripod adjustment and general faff to get that right Paul!

was ready for the curry

went to Shezan - very pricey for Rusholm, not reommended, go to Shahenshah instead - lovely

very reminiscent of the treatment given by Paul Stefan to some of his work, great composition.

Superb shot Ade. I think I might have preferred the stump thingy a bit nearer to the left side of the frame. Have had the presumption to do a mod. What you reckon?
Rog
PS Do you ever eat anything else apart from curries?

Nice shot. I prefer the first for the stronger foreground/background echo.

Well deserved HC, this has an almost unreal quality. Shows how effective urban landscapes can be.

Ta folks

Rog - don't you think that the main building is now a bit close to the frame edge? Creates an imbalanced shot - quite heavily weighted to the left.

Eat all sorts, just seems that curry houses are open, cheap and tasty

I like this a lot. Good capture all round!
Can I please get you to tell me of a link or some sort of description of how to process an image to get this sort of effect!! I have tried HDR before but never get this sort of effect...How do I have to process the separate images???
ade_mcfade 12 15.2k 216 England

Hi David

this one's not HDR! it's just got 5 stops of ND grad filter on the sky parts to make the clouds nice and dark.
