Say that again....

Been trying all sorts with these new flash heads, but my pepper grinder and a tangerine are not really going to set the world on fire.

And neither am I of course, but ended up plonking the lights all over the room then returning to the same spot to see how the changed the scene.

This one's got a light far away to the right (umbrella) filling in my ear and the soft box is on low power a couple of feet to the left.

Got 50 happy shots, but the more intense look just seems to suit this blue channel mono stuff better..

Well worth the effort that it took. The detail is very fine and the lighting could not be better to achieve this effect. Congrats on the EC!

Congratulations! An EC for Christmas! What a gift.
The lighting is superb, and the B&W works so well here.
I followed a short portraitcourse with my DH last month - but was glad that we had some models.

Amazing what gets past you on here Smile cannot add anything that has not already been said the lighting is the bees knees for want of a better word lol
