WTF!!!

By ade_mcfade
I've taken delivery of a speedliht accessory kit from Viewfinder Photography, and here is a shot from my first human shoot with them (I used them on wine bottles.... )

It's Dave, he'd had a hard day, walking 8 miles then drinking lots of Carlsberg and eating 2 platefuls of my lovingly prepared Achari Aloo and turkey - a lot better than it sounds.

So he was looking quite pooped, ideal for a shoot.

the setup here is

black velvey bkdrop
snoot adaptor creating a pool of light on the backdrop
beauty dish with honeycomb to the right front at head height
beauty dish with fine honeycomb behind him pointing down from high to create a hair light as well as a backlight.

not entirely sure what the expression is saying, but he was ready for a sit down by this point

if you're on facebook, there's about 20 more of this shoot there.... do I get shot for saying that?

That lighting works extremely well, and the end result well processed.

Nice one Pete - glad someone liked this shot! I thought it was a cracker of Dave and was a tad disappointed by the response
